A Musical play for the very youngest children about the exciting encounters between children and adults that can happen during the course of a day. When they are in a hurry in the morning or going to bed at night, there are a thousand small and big wishes between them. Getting dressed, eating, combing hair can go terribly wrong, how delightful are then the unforgettable moments of laughing together, dancing, being "together"! Surprises, images and associations are created that invite you to watch. After the play, there is a play phase in which the children can explore the stage and conquer it for themselves.
Shortly before admission, we ask everyone to take off their shoes. It is not necessary to bring slippers.

Prices
With the discount voucher from the JugendKulturService, the price is €4.50 per ticket. In addition, the accompanying teachers receive free tickets (one free ticket for every 7 children).
Please bring one JKS ticket per kindergarten group to the booked performance. This consists of a yellow, blue and white ticket. Do not forget to enter the identification number of the institution beforehand.

Workshops and follow-up discussions
As part of your performance visit, we also offer free workshops or follow-up discussions for kindergarten groups. This currently applies to the following productions:
- The fabulous Millibillies
- On a trip around the world with the Millibillies
- The Millibillies - A fabulous concertIn the follow-up workshop, we playfully rehearse the play in two school lessons with the help of an instrument box, either at your kindergarten (only applies to Berlin) or at our theater (depending on capacity).
Audience discussions take place after the performance and usually around 20 minutes. Here the children have the opportunity to ask the actors involved questions about the play and their work.

Training Days
This training workshop for educators, students or other people interested in theatre with children from the age of 2 teaches playful methods for the simple use of theatre in everyday kindergarten life. How can we invent stories together with the children in different ways and tell them theatrically?
The workshop lasts 2 hours and can be booked for groups of 10 or more.
A group visit to any GRIPS Theatre performance is a condition for the free workshop.
Particularly suitable for children aged 2 and over are the two plays
‘Vier zurück’ and ‘aneinander vorbei’ at the GRIPS Podewil theatre.

Cooperations
TUKI - Theater & Kindergarten
Since 2013, the GRIPS Theater has been working with kindergartens as part of TUKI. In the partnerships with different formats, children between the ages of two and six have been given a wide range of aesthetic experiences with theater and, in return, the theater has been able to take away impulses for artistic work for a very young audience.
The GRIPS Theater is currently taking part in the TUKI Tandem format and since the 2023/24 season, the Emser Straße Kindergarten has been our TUKI Tandem Kindergarten for the next three years.
By alternating between seeing and doing theater, TUKI Tandem anchors theater arts as a focus in the kindergarten and the children are sensitively introduced to stage arts. From the very beginning, further training in theater pedagogy has also played a major role for educators.
TUKI has now grown to four formats with 15 partnerships and has reached several thousand children in Berlin. With its program, TUKI is committed to cultural education and participation in early childhood. In the first years of life, the foundations are laid for the perceptions and expressions that will shape the rest of their lives. The work in the kindergarten can reach children regardless of their social background. The pedagogical professionals are very important multipliers.
