Florian Buder

Florian Buder is a freelance stage and costume designer. Florian studied fashion under Bernhard Willhelm and Hussein Chalayan at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. After gaining initial professional experience at Vivienne Westwood, Eckhaus Latta and Anne Sofie Madsen, Florian worked as a design assistant specialising in denim. This was followed by a position at the Münchner Kammerspiele as a permanent costume assistant for the 2020-2022 seasons, where Florian assisted in productions by Jessica Glause, Pınar Karabulut and Falk Richter, among others, and went freelance after completing his assistantship. In the course of his freelance career, he has worked for the Münchner Kammerspiele, Schauspiel Stuttgart and the Bavarian State Opera, among others.
