Jamia Anger-Hegi, 19 years old and a recent high school graduate who grew up in Berlin, has a close connection to GRIPS theatre that stretches back many years. Her journey began with early visits to numerous performances and reached a high point in Year 12 at the Waldorf School 'Rudolf Steiner Schule Berlin', when she took part in the school production of ‘Linie 1’. In this production she played Trude, the social democrat, and also took part in the ensemble, which gave her a deep insight into the world of theatre and GRIPS in particular.
In addition to her enthusiasm for theatre and culture, Jamia is very interested in press work and political issues, which she has intensified by taking part in several political seminars.
Jamia is particularly looking forward to the upcoming season, 2024/25 at the GRIPS Theatre and is excited to gain new experiences in press and public relations. She is curious to get to know the work behind the scenes and to support the theatre.
