Julia Blankenburg became an actress out of love for the Grips Theater. As a real West Berlin children's shop child, she watched all the premieres at Grips and at the age of 7 she said: When I grow up, I'll be an actress and then I'll go to the Grips Theater!
After her acting training and several stints at other theaters, she was finally allowed to play at the theater of her dreams - first as a permanent ensemble member for a few years and now for many years as a guest in various plays.
Julia Blankenburg is now an established film and television actress, dubbing voice and audio book narrator.
However, her love of Grips remains with her to this day, and every time she is on stage there, the dream of her childhood is fulfilled anew.
