Katja Fillmann

works as a freelance director. She studied Applied Cultural Studies at the University of Hildesheim and received a scholarship to study acting at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht/Netherlands. She has directed productions at the Theater Basel, Theater am Neumarkt Zurich, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater Braunschweig, DT Göttingen, Stadttheater Hildesheim, Theater Baden-Baden and Theater Essen, among others. Free productions were created with Herwig Ursin and Ariane Andereggen in Basel, with the Formation Vroom at the Gessnerallee Zurich, Laboutique Berlin and Rogerio de Nuna Costa Lisbon.
