Born in Suwon, South Korea, she studied Stage Design (M.A./B.A.) at the Berlin University of the Arts and Oriental Painting (B.A.) at Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea. Since graduating, she has worked as a freelance stage designer and performer for the independent scene, opera, drama and dance theater. From 2018 to 2022, she was a permanent stage design assistant at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg and worked with Frank Castorf, Herbert Fritsch, Karin Henkel, Katie Mitchell, René Pollesch, Studio Braun and others.
Her artistic work also includes projects in the visual arts, performance and writing. In 2017 she founded the artist collective "Civil Defense Admösistration". She is an alumni of the Akademie Musiktheater heute, Deutsche Bank Stiftung.
